Robert Herrmann
As Managing Director, Robert has in excess of twenty five years experience in agriculture.
Robert's life has been related to Agriculture, firstly as a member of the family farm located south of Hamilton, and then in various occupations directly connected to agriculture.
These various periods of employment included diverse occupations such as meatworker, shearer, station hand and district wool manager with Elders Ltd culminating with the role of National Marketing Manager - Wool, based in Elders head office in Adelaide.
All of these experiences have contributed to the circumstances which led him to the decision to create a company with the specific function of providing tailored advice and information to the agricultural industry.
He holds an Associate Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) and is a Authorised representative of Ag Concepts Unlimited, a Licensed Futures Advisors with the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC Licence No. 316516).
ASIC registration allows Robert to provide an individual price management and marketing service advising clients on a year round pricing strategy.
Robert is also a qualified and highly experienced Workplace Trainer. There are now many agriculture commodity producers and consumers who credit their education in the areas of pricing and risk management to their attendance at one of Robert's workshops.
Angus Brown
Angus Brown joined Ag Concepts Unlimited in December 2004 after graduating from the University of Melbourne. Angus holds both a Bachelor of Agricultural Science, with honors, and a Bachelor of Commerce.
Angus' experience in Agriculture stems from growing up on a sheep and cattle property near Hamilton, Victoria. Angus' practical background in agriculture, combined with his comprehensive understanding of finance and economics provides Angus with a unique perspective of agricultural markets and marketing.
Angus has been based in Perth working with a Western Australian beef processor and lotfeeders to develop innovative supply and marketing agreements based on the MLA/SFE Cattle Futures. Angus is now based in Ballarat and is using his unique knowledge of beef processing and cattle futures to add another dimension to ACU's market analysis and provide timely and accurate advice to clients.

James Whatley
James Whatley grew up on a farm in northern Victoria before moving to Melbourne to complete a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne.
James came to Ag Concepts Unlimited from the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) in July 2006. With DPI, James spent 2 1/2 years at Rutherglen as a Beef Industry Development Officer working with producer groups to improve grazing management and beef production by delivering the BeefCheque program. James then spent 14 months at Ballarat as a Farm Business Analyst working on the Farm Monitor Project and managing a cattle hide improvement supply chain project.
James' experience analysing the profitability and productivity of farms combined with his experience in supply chain management enables him to understand the needs of clients at all levels of the supply chain.
James is an accredited workplace trainer and has a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management. James is an Authorised Representative of Ag Concepts Unlimited (ASIC Licence No. 316516)
